LONG POND, Pa. -- Is Kyle Busch spread too thin?
His older brother thinks that might be the case.

Kurt Busch indicated Friday that Kyle has matured when it comes to handling adversity, but that racing full time in the Nationwide Series and part time in the Camping World Truck Series might be diverting his brother's attention from the No. 18 Sprint Cup team at Joe Gibbs Racing.
With a 38th-place finish at Indianapolis last Sunday, Kyle Busch fell out of the top 12 in the Cup standings for the first time since breaking into the elite dozen March 1 at Las Vegas.
"Whether it's good or bad days, he's learning how to handle them better," said Kurt, who is fourth in points and solidly in the Chase. "When you're on the outside looking in, it really makes you dig deep and really makes you think about how important this is to run consistent each week and to find the best speed you can with your race car.
"Basically, he's got to stay out of trouble. He's been finding trouble here and there, and that's been hurting his finishes. When you have those week-in and week-out, yeah, you're going to be on the outside looking in. For him just to get back to square one, I think if he could focus more on the 18 Cup car, rather than on the Truck and the Nationwide deal, that would help him in the long run."
